And So It Remains....

My fascination and obsession with the beach has existed since i was a child, and it still stays just as strong, if not stronger, today.
For some reason beaches bring calm to my mind, the wind helps clear out the confusion from my head, and the sound of the waves just brings me back to life.

I had a friend once who shared this love for the beach with me, who increased my love for that sandy haven even more. And although things have changed between us, we still bump into each other at the beach once in a while, walking down the edge of the waves with headphones as usual.

It just reminds me how easily life can change, just like the ebb and flow of the waves of the ocean, just like the rise and fall of the breeze. All the images attached to this post are my own clicking,  and all of them somehow always manage to remind me of the solitude of life and how peaceful solitude can truly be.

I usually visit the beach alone, because I like to do my own thing as I dip my toes in the water and indulge in the catharsis that the ocean tries to provoke within me. It's my place to just let my mind go and just....Be, if you know what I mean. I really don't know what exactly it is in this place that soothes me and brings out my best; all I know is that it's here to stay :)

P.S - Please comment on the pictures, I'd really like to know what you think :)

  1. You are a really good photographer. Maybe, if you publicize your blog, people will know about and appreciate your talent. You can publicize it through any social networking sites. I suggest: Facebook.
