Before You Accuse Me..

In an attempt to study, I vividly remember I started playing with my new Monopoly board and started messing around with exposures on my camera. Hope you like em :)

Bad People? Or Learning Experiences?

Picture for the Day : -  So this is a picture clicked by a new photographer I learnt about, named Jessica Hilltout. (Her website link is somewhere on my blog page btw :P If you bother checking it out, it's really really cool.) She clicks pictures of the Imperfections she sees in Africa, which is where she is right now, working on her AMEN project. If you go onto her website, her biography is pretty cool! I don't think half of the photographers out there even realize the amount of beauty and emotion they are capturing while they click the simplest of things. The picture above is (evidently) a pair of worn out sandals alone.
Makes you feel a bit lonely, don't it?

Okay, So on to the topic on my mind for today. There's this girl who used to be one of my best friends until last year. She was the kind who was always judged by everyone around him, and sometimes by me too, but for different reasons. Bottom line - I can't STAND her anymore, but I'm still quite grateful to her for a lot of shit he taught me. Like, after his millionth attempt to fit in with the crowd by being fake and not-herself, I learnt that my own year of trying to make friends in my hellhole of a school was a freaking waste of time. Nobody has a heart in that place, and I'm doubting how much of one I have myself.

I've found a limited amount of people like my twin sister (not biologically my twin, but amounts for the same thing in reality) and a few others who I think will last forever but I'm not too sure. I've learnt the hard way recently that the more you expect from something, the harder it's going to hit you when it decides to get bored of you and fuck off. Expectations really ruin things, and I've been thinking about that a lot lately. I think it's impossible not to expect, but you gotta do it sometimes. At times you're in too deep. I expected most of my now ex-friends to last 'forever'. I don't think I know how long 'forever' actually is. And not a lot of people do...

I'm not too sure of what I'm saying right now, but I'll leave you with this - People in your life are OBVIOUSLY gonna come and go, we've established that a long time ago. But the ones who're gone now still do or once did affect who you are. Some taught you to be bitchy, some made you get into music, some made you bitter and some broke your heart. But each one of them is a part of you... So hate em, but acknowledge that they were learning experiences. That girl made me perceptive and bitter, but it's who I am now so... I'm good :)

A Blast From A Weird Past

Picture for the Day :
That's a headless pigeon I saw outside school. It's head is bashed into its body....

Okay, so today I went to a friend's place to work on the script this play (Blood Wedding by Federico Garcia Lorca) that we're performing in school, and I randomly got thinking about death. For those who've read or watched the play, the male protagonist and antagonist die in the end while fighting over a (really selfish) woman. So after I read the play, I started wondering about how it feels to be dead. How does it feel to be so cold? So still? How can your blood not flow through your veins? How can your heart not beat? I got very intrigued by this whole concept and went into Thinkyland again. I realized that maybe death makes people around the deceased look at them differently. And that death really DOES put the deceased person at ease.

You let go of all your worries and concerns, but the downside is that you also leave behind the things you love' like perhaps your favourite CD now goes into someone else's CD player, or your favourite Beatles shirt is being worn and torn by a beggar kid in some random lane. Nobody can mess with your head anymore, but nobody can make you feel good about yourself either. You don't have to make people around you happy, or work on yourself anymore. But neither will you get the satisfaction of achieving the goals you'd set for yourself.

And if you're on the receiving side of the death, obviously you're losing a loved one or a person you knew existed. But don't you think you might look at the person differently once they die? Someone in my school died recently, and I got so much more aware of his existence. I started thinking about how life would be if I knew this guy, and what the guy must have been like. A new person came into my life and became important to me, because he's never coming back.

In an attempt to sum up my thoughts, I think Death in itself is quite a mad thing, but quite interesting to think about. I know this isn't exactly a very good topic to start my blog with, but I guess this is how I am. I like thinking about things that other people refuse to consider. I like the 'off' tag that people around me have attached to my name and face. Maybe now's not the time to think about this, but when I die, I'd somehow love to know who get affected by it. Don't you?

P.S - And here's the picture for today! It's a bit creepy so please be warned... It's a picture of a headless pigeon I saw outside my school while going home. The poor thing has its head bashed into its body, by a cat or something perhaps. I wanted to take a picture of the inside but my friends got freaked out and pulled me away. Meanos :@
Anyway, comment and share your views if you wish to, I'm waiting :)

Just The Way It Works

Hello... well this post is just a note on how things are gonna work on my blog. I love clicking pictures and I click some pretty weird ones; so with every post I'm gonna post one or more pictures, clicked by either me or other photographers for you to review and comment on. :) Random pictures remind of random things, so I'm not promising very sensible posts...

P.S - Feel free to criticize and disagree with anything I say, and please be honest while commenting. And if you plan on making fun of me, please don't. You're a waste of e-space.
